Whale explained
Crypto whale
Quick definition: Whales are individuals or institutions holding very large amounts of money, enough to move the price when they buy or sell.
On decentralized exchanges like Hyperliquid, every position is public on the blockchain, so anyone can see whether whales are Long or Short, along with their entry and liquidation prices.
Tracking whales helps you understand what big money is thinking, but whales are sometimes wrong, and sometimes use positions to hedge holdings elsewhere.
Don't copy whale trades blindly, because their capital, leverage and goals are different from yours.
A wallet on Hyperliquid opens a $50 million ETH Short with 5x leverage: this trade shows up immediately in Crypffalo's Whale Wallets section.
