BTC closed September at 83,563 USD. The 82,000–82,500 USD zone is near support, while 87,500 USD is the trigger level if price is to head toward 95,000 USD.

Bitcoin closed its September monthly candle at 83,563 USD and opened October around 84,000–85,000 USD. BTC has just posted three straight monthly gains from July to September, the first time since 2012, with September up about 10%.
Technical levels cited by analysts
- Near support: 82,000–82,500 USD, a zone that was resistance on the monthly chart and has now turned into support.
- Trigger level: 87,500 USD. If it breaks, the next target cited is 95,000 USD.
- Weakness threshold: below 80,000 USD.
- Base range according to Bitget Wallet's research team: 78,000–95,000 USD.
Long-term context
- BTC is still about 33% below its all-time high of 126,080 USD set on Oct 6, 2025.
- About 71% of BTC supply was in profit at the end of September.
Does Uptober still hold?
- BTC rose in every October from 2019 to 2024, but October 2025 broke the streak: the price peaked on Oct 6 and then fell after a liquidation wave of about 19 billion USD driven by tariff concerns.
- As the analysts themselves note, seasonality is not an investment thesis. The Fed meeting on Oct 27–28 may matter more.
